find true friendship
Friendship and Sisterhood are core values that Delta Phi Omega cherishes. Here at the Denton City-Wide Colony, many of our ladies consider sisters to be family away from home. We are constantly supporting each other through the obstacles that life throws at us and celebrate when life gives us happiness. Whether it be grabbing food, watching a movie, or just enjoying each other’s company, joining this sisterhood has given a space for each of us to truly be ourselves. The bonds and memories that many of us have made in this sorority are something that we will carry even after college.
attend sisterhood events
Denton City-Wide colony plans a Sisterhood event each month to allow sisters to reconnect and take a step back from hectic college life. Past Sisterhood events that we have implemented are spa nights, campfires, craft events, movie dates, sleepovers, photo-shoots, Thanksgiving Day Potlucks, holiday gift exchanges, Valentine’s Day card-making and more!
endless networking:Being a part of a sorority with over 25,000 members across the nation provides a big opportunity to network and meet new people! We have several events and programs that can connect individuals professionally and socially to sisters all over the globe.

National Conference:
Every summer, Delta Phi Omega hosts a National Conference to allow sisters from all over the nation to reconnect and learn more about DPO. The conference is hosted in a new city each year and includes a series of workshops and forums to help sisters connect, network, refine leadership skills, and learn new ways to improve their respective chapters/colonies. Mentoring: Delta Phi Omega has sisters and alumni across the nation in various fields of interests. To help professional development, DPO has created a mentoring program that matches a sister to a mentor who can guide them and provide insight to their field of interest. SWRR: Delta Phi Omega is divided into several regions that encompass a number of chapters/colonies (University of North Texas Charter is a part of the Southwest region along with the Alpha Gamma Chapter, Alpha Chapter, and Theta Chapter). Each year, we have a regional retreat at one of the encompassing universities where sisters can network, socialize, and attend workshops to refine leadership skills and better their charter/chapter. |

Delta Phi Omega stands out from many South-Asian interest sororities because we are an academic, social, AND service organization. What could possibly be better than noticeable improvement in grades, giving back to your community, AND being able to socialize with numerous organizations around campus?
